Boards in the designer

Outdoor board — weatherproof cabinet for fields and stadiums. These are the track and field boards the phone designer opens with; the computer version offers 19 sizes from 7' to 24' wide, and the Pro designer the complete Fair-Play catalog.

What a track and field scoreboard shows

Track boards show event, heat and lane results and the running time, with the wider models laid out for the field-sport games the stadium also hosts. The Premium Upgrade adds Electronic Team Names or Rear-Illuminated Captions for meets between named schools.

Around the board

Outdoor installs add an Arch or Rectangle truss carrying the stadium or sponsor name, an optional video display, and a Bottom sign with one to five sponsor panels — all sized to the same width so the stack reads as one piece.

  • Board and trim colour — pick both from the Fair-Play palette; the header follows the board colour unless you choose its own.
  • TrussArch or Rectangle, full width, carrying your facility name.
  • Video display — an LED video screen for replays, messages and advertising.
  • Bottom sign — one to five sponsor panels under the board.
  • Premium Upgrade — Electronic Team Names or Rear-Illuminated Captions, either or both.

Also called: track timing display, athletics scoreboard, stadium scoreboard.

Common questions

Do I need an account?

No. Nothing on this site requires a sign-up. A saved picture, PDF or link is your copy of the design.

Where is the price?

Pricing depends on the size, the parts and the installation, so it is not shown in the designer. Send the design and Fair-Play gets back to you with a quote; nothing is charged.

Can I change a board after I send it?

Yes. The link in your confirmation reopens the design on a computer, and your Fair-Play representative can adjust anything with you before an order is placed.

Is the phone designer the whole catalog?

No — the phone carries a few boards per sport. The computer version has more sizes, and the Pro designer opens the full Fair-Play catalog with logo placement and free layout.
