Boards in the designer

Indoor board — gymnasium, arena or rink. These are the hockey boards the phone designer opens with; the computer version offers 16 sizes from 9' to 21' wide, and the Pro designer the complete Fair-Play catalog.

What a hockey scoreboard shows

Hockey boards show the score, game clock and period, with two penalty timers per side — player number and time remaining — on the larger models. Add the Premium Upgrade — Electronic Team Names or Rear-Illuminated Captions — to name both teams on the board.

Around the board

As an indoor board it takes a flat top billboard for the rink or sponsor name, an optional video display and a Bottom sign with sponsor panels. Cold-building installs are common: ask your Fair-Play representative about the rink environment when you send the design.

  • Board and trim colour — pick both from the Fair-Play palette; the header follows the board colour unless you choose its own.
  • Top billboarda flat band above the board with your facility name.
  • Video display — an LED video screen for replays, messages and advertising, placed above, beside or below the board.
  • Bottom sign — one to five sponsor panels under the board.
  • Premium Upgrade — Electronic Team Names or Rear-Illuminated Captions, either or both.

Also called: ice rink scoreboard, arena scoreboard, hockey scoreboard with penalty clock.

Common questions

Do I need an account?

No. Nothing on this site requires a sign-up. A saved picture, PDF or link is your copy of the design.

Where is the price?

Pricing depends on the size, the parts and the installation, so it is not shown in the designer. Send the design and Fair-Play gets back to you with a quote; nothing is charged.

Can I change a board after I send it?

Yes. The link in your confirmation reopens the design on a computer, and your Fair-Play representative can adjust anything with you before an order is placed.

Is the phone designer the whole catalog?

No — the phone carries a few boards per sport. The computer version has more sizes, and the Pro designer opens the full Fair-Play catalog with logo placement and free layout.
