Boards in the designer

Outdoor board — weatherproof cabinet for fields and stadiums. These are the baseball and softball boards the phone designer opens with; the computer version offers 48 sizes from 7' to 36' wide, and the Pro designer the complete Fair-Play catalog.

What a baseball and softball scoreboard shows

Baseball boards show the score, inning, balls, strikes and outs; the wider models add the full inning-by-inning line score with runs, hits and errors. The Premium Upgrade puts the teams’ names on the board with Electronic Team Names or Rear-Illuminated Captions.

Around the board

An outfield board is usually topped by an Arch or Rectangle truss with the field or sponsor name, and finished with a Bottom sign carrying one to five sponsor panels — the designer shows the complete stack, and a video display can be added for replays and advertising.

  • Board and trim colour — pick both from the Fair-Play palette; the header follows the board colour unless you choose its own.
  • TrussArch or Rectangle, full width, carrying your facility name.
  • Video display — an LED video screen for replays, messages and advertising.
  • Bottom sign — one to five sponsor panels under the board.
  • Premium Upgrade — Electronic Team Names or Rear-Illuminated Captions, either or both.

Also called: outfield scoreboard, little league scoreboard, softball scoreboard.

Common questions

Do I need an account?

No. Nothing on this site requires a sign-up. A saved picture, PDF or link is your copy of the design.

Where is the price?

Pricing depends on the size, the parts and the installation, so it is not shown in the designer. Send the design and Fair-Play gets back to you with a quote; nothing is charged.

Can I change a board after I send it?

Yes. The link in your confirmation reopens the design on a computer, and your Fair-Play representative can adjust anything with you before an order is placed.

Is the phone designer the whole catalog?

No — the phone carries a few boards per sport. The computer version has more sizes, and the Pro designer opens the full Fair-Play catalog with logo placement and free layout.
