Terms of Use

Effective August 11, 2026 · These terms apply to design.fair-play.com, the Fair-Play Design Center.

This site is a free design tool. You can design a scoreboard or scorer’s table and send that design to Fair-Play to receive a quote. No payment is taken on this site and submitting a design does not buy anything.

1. Who we are

This Design Center is operated by Fair-Play Corporation, which also operates as Fair-Play Scoreboards, of 6110 Aviator Drive, Hazelwood, MO 63042, United States of America. Founded in 1934, Fair-Play is a manufacturer of digital scoreboards and sports display systems — scoreboards, LED video displays, digital signage and ticker products — for schools, colleges, stadiums and athletic facilities. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Fair-Play Corporation; “you” means the person using this site.

You can reach us at 1 (800) 247-0265, through our support portal, or by post at the address above.

These terms cover this site only. Our main website at www.fair-play.com is separate and has its own terms and policies.

2. Submitting a design is a request, not an order

When you submit a design, we record it and route it to the Fair-Play dealer for your area. A representative then follows up with a quote. Until you and Fair-Play Corporation (or your dealer) sign or otherwise agree a written contract:

If a quote is made available to you here, accepting it in the app signals your intent to proceed. It does not by itself create a sales contract, and it does not take payment. Product pricing, lead times, freight, warranty and payment terms are all set out in the separate quote and sales documents from Fair-Play Corporation or your dealer.

3. Your designs and the artwork you upload

You keep ownership of the logos, images, team names, sponsor artwork and other content you upload or enter (“Your Content”). We do not claim ownership of it.

So that we can actually do what you are asking us to do, you grant Fair-Play Corporation and its dealers and manufacturing partners a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, reproduce, adapt for production, and display Your Content for the purpose of preparing your quote, producing proofs and drawings, and manufacturing and supporting the product you order. This licence lasts as long as we need it for those purposes and for our ordinary business records. We will not sell Your Content, and we will not use it in marketing or public showcases without asking you first.

Important: you are responsible for having the right to use what you upload. Sponsor logos, school marks, team names, mascots and typefaces are usually owned by someone else. By uploading Your Content you confirm that you own it or have permission from the owner to use it this way, and that it does not infringe anyone’s rights. You agree to cover Fair-Play Corporation for any third-party claim, loss or cost that arises from Your Content or from your not having those rights. If we are told that content infringes someone’s rights, we may remove it or pause the related design.

4. What the on-screen design does and does not show

The preview is a visual approximation to help you make choices. Screen colours vary by device and do not exactly match painted, printed or LED output; layouts, proportions and digit sizes shown on screen are indicative. The binding description of what will be built is the drawing, proof or specification provided with your quote — not the preview on this site. Please review those documents carefully before approving production.

Product availability, sizes and options shown here may change, and some configurations may turn out not to be manufacturable as drawn. Your dealer will tell you if that is the case.

5. Accounts, guest designs and your private link

You can use this site as a guest or create an account. If you create one, keep your sign-in details secure and tell us promptly if you think someone else has used it. You are responsible for activity under your account.

If you submit as a guest, we give you a private link and QR code. Anyone who has that link can see that design and its details, so treat it like a password and only share it with people you trust. If you lose it and gave us an email address, you can recover it from the find your design page.

Designs you have not submitted may be held only in your browser on the device you used, so they can disappear if you clear your browser data or switch devices. Please do not rely on this site as the only copy of anything important to you.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

We may suspend or remove access, designs or accounts that breach these rules.

7. Our content

The Fair-Play name and logo, the site, its software, and our product templates, artwork, drawings and catalogue data belong to Fair-Play Corporation or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may use them only as part of using this site for its intended purpose. Designs you create here are for obtaining a quote from Fair-Play and its dealers — please do not use our templates or drawings to have a product made by anyone else.

8. Where we sell

The Design Center takes shipping and contact details for the United States and Canada only. You are welcome to use the design tool from anywhere, but we may not be able to quote or deliver outside those countries.

9. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain what we collect and why. In short: to prepare your quote we collect the contact and delivery details you give us and the designs and artwork you submit, we share them with the Fair-Play dealer handling your enquiry, and we use analytics cookies to understand how the site is used.

10. The site is provided as it is

We work to keep the Design Center accurate and available, but we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that saved work will never be lost, or that every product detail shown is current. To the fullest extent the law allows, the site is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. This section is about the website; it does not affect any warranty given with a product you actually buy.

11. Limits on liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Fair-Play Corporation is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of this site, including lost designs, lost data, lost profits or lost opportunity. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

12. Changes

We may update these terms as the site changes. The effective date at the top shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the site after that means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts located in Missouri will have jurisdiction over any dispute, unless the law that protects you as a consumer where you live says otherwise.

14. Contact
